Iran’s government spokesperson Ali Rabiee gave a long and rambling response to a series of questions on Tuesday address everything from the nuclear deal to an Israeli ship that was reportedly targeted by Iran, to Iran seeking a 25-year agreement with China. He claimed that Iran “does not allow Israeli invasions and monitors their behavior in the region.”

This would appear to mean that Iran is seeking to “secure the open seas” as he said, and this means potential threat to Israeli ships. He did not admit Iran’s involvement in the attack on the MV Helios Ray, a cargo vessel bound for Singapore that was hit with an explosion in the Gulf of Oman over the weekend.

Rabiee was focused primarily on potential meetings with the US and European countries. He noted that since the US left the 2015 JCPOA or “Iran deal” that the US would be a “guest” at such a meeting. Iran has apparently torpedoed talks unless the US gives up on sanctions. He also touched on successes of the government.

“In the last eight years, the government has been creating a calm atmosphere in domestic politics and expanding the facilitation for the social action of the people, as well as strengthening the economy in the economic arena while trying to grow and develop.” Shows the important.

Foreign policy is linked to domestic policy because Iran is essentially Clausewitzian in how it does policy. That means war is an extension of its policymaking. “We have always believed that the fundamental goal of foreign policy should be to help achieve these goals,” Rabiee said. This belief in the government has been a reflection of our people’s choice to enjoy a safe, prosperous and healthy life based on what they deserve and deserve.”
He remarked that the nuclear crisis was “fake” and that Iran had sought the deal in 2015 to avoid foreign pressure. He added that “the Trump regime, by being deceived by those who saw the events from the first days of the Iran deal summit as a blow to their evil desires for the Iranian people, chose an evil path that ultimately resulted in the isolation of the United States in institutions and The organizations they once founded did not arrive.”

Trump was slammed as “unconventional, irrational and cruel behavior [which] imposed heavy costs on our people’s economy, [but] he did not have the slightest success in breaking the backbone of our national independence and endurance, which rises from the will to determine the fate of an ancient civilization.”

Since “maximum pressure” failed, Iran says, the Biden administration must return to the Iran deal. “Like many other nations, we believe that there is no other way but diplomacy to resolve the current dispute, but diplomacy cannot begin without goodwill and honesty,” the government spokesman said. The US must move first, Iran says. Rabiee noted that the US government has so far refused to take the slightest step to show confidence-building efforts.
He added that “last week, in agreement with the International Atomic Energy Agency , we implemented the law passed by the parliament in such a way as to respect the law and assure the international community that our nuclear programs continue to be under legitimate,” he noted. The translation here is from Fars news, although similar comments were reported by Tasnim.

The spokesperson rambled on with numerous other statements about how Iran has defeated US tactics and Rabiee said that the proposal of the three European countries to hold a meeting with the United States was an initiative, but this time was not appropriate due to the lack of sanctions and the hypocritical rhetoric of the United States in lifting sanctions.

After touching on the “Zionist” accusations about Iran attacking the ship, he mocked Netanyahu and then mentioned that Ali Larijani, the former parliament speaker, was not going to Iran at the present time to negotiate the 25-year deal. Iran is pursuing a multi-decade economic deal with China. It was unclear why Larijani’s trip was not happening. This could be a setback for Iran. But Iran is pleased that it will be getting large sums unfrozen from South Korea.

The special envoy of the President of Russia Alexander Lavrentyev made a report in which he emphasized the unwillingness of the Israeli side to fulfill the agreements reached between Israel and Russia to de-escalate the situation in Syria

Lavrentyev noted that Moscow’s patience has completely dried up, and if Israel does not give up aggressive actions against the Arab Republic in the near future, Russia will be ready to attack Israeli aircraft, obviously, not only over Syria, but also in the airspace over neighboring countries, or in international airspace.

“Sooner or later, the cup of patience, including the Syrian government, may be overflowing, and a retaliatory strike will follow, which will accordingly lead to a new round of tension. These attacks must be stopped, they are counterproductive. We hope that the Israeli side will hear our concerns, including concerns about the possible escalation of violence in Syria, ” Lavrentiev said.

Given the fact that we are talking about an official statement, it is obvious that Russia is extremely unhappy with Israel’s actions, especially after strikes were struck in areas where Russian military and civilian Syrian citizens were stationed.

According to analysts, as a first step, Russia may begin to raise its combat aircraft into the sky to counter Israel, and if such a measure does not help, the next step will be to use Russian air defense systems to intercept Israeli missiles, and then, a more radical step, opening fire on Israeli aircraft posing a threat to the Russian military on the territory of the Arab republic.

Erdoğan Again Has His Eyes Set on Jerusalem

JNS.org – Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s decision to change the name of the Directorate of Religious Affairs to the “Directorate of Jerusalem and Umrah Affairs” isn’t about semantics but substance. Erdoğan views himself as a successor to the line of Ottoman sultans. He wants to restore the empire of old and sees himself as responsible for Jerusalem from the Islamic perspective.

In his own eyes, Erdoğan is the successor to Salah al-DinTur and Suleiman the Magnificent. Hence, Erdoğan has adhered to the dream of a Muslim caliphate with Jerusalem as its capital. Consequently, he has reintroduced Ottoman language studies in Turkish schools, and receives visiting leaders and dignitaries with an honor guard wearing old Ottoman caliphate uniforms.

From Erdoğan’s point of view, Jerusalem is “under occupation,” is of utmost importance after Mecca and Medina, and should be part of the “Umrah” (the “regular” Muslim pilgrimage throughout the year, unlike the Hajj). True to this worldview, as early as 2017 the Turkish president called for “conquering” the city through a mass infusion of Muslim tourists to Israel. “We must visit Al-Aqsa much more,” he said at the time. He noted disappointingly that during the previous year, only 26,000 Turkish tourists had visited Jerusalem, the highest number of any Muslim country but far lower than the hundreds of thousands of Americans, Russians and French who visited the city and the Al-Aqsa mosque.

Erdoğan believes that Israeli sovereignty in Jerusalem is a historic accident. All his moves relating to Jerusalem, including the aforementioned name change, are geared towards amending it. In his vision, he sees himself as the modern Salah al-Din and the future liberator of Jerusalem. The Muslim tourists—who in some cases are “unemployed” Turks whose visit to Israel is funded by the Turkish authorities—are Erdoğan’s soldiers in the fight for Jerusalem.

Jewish History Proves Jews Are Indigenous to Israel

Jewish history is long, tortuous, and difficult to grasp in its entirety. Moreover, there is the history of the Jews,…

In a viral video posted to social media by pro-Turkish elements two years ago, an anxious Palestinian man is seen asking urgently for Muslims to defend al-Aqsa. The video quickly shifts to images of ships, planes and vehicles draped in the Turkish and Palestinian flags, and their destination is singular: al-Aqsa. The video then shows a mass of people charging the gates of the compound, pushing back Israel Defense Forces soldiers and filling every square inch of the site. “Al-Aqsa is liberated,” the words finally appear.

The murabitun and murabitat (groups of Muslim “guards”), who routinely harassed and prevented Jews from visiting the Temple Mount, were ultimately outlawed. They were the vanguard of Erdoğan’s grand vision and the head of the Northern Branch of the Islamic Movement in Israel, Sheikh Raed Salah, his ally in the Holy Land. Now—by registering Turkish pilgrims within the framework of the Umrah—Erdoğan wants to continue his “war of liberation” on behalf of Al-Aqsa, which has been “captured, contaminated and defiled” by the Jews and Israel.

In 2015, Erdoğan sent Mehmet Gormez, the head of the Directorate of Religious Affairs, to Jerusalem, to organize the “Laylat al-Qadr” (“Night of Decree”) prayer on the Temple Mount, essentially incorporating Jerusalem as a “pilgrimage” station even then. Now he has made it official. Were it up to him, he’d probably lead the next Laylat al-Qadr prayer himself.
