On Monday, multiple ceremonies were being held across the country to commemorate the October 7 Massacre. During a speech, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said about the attack that “we will never reconcile ourselves to this terrible crime” and vowed to “hunt down the human animals that attacked us with shocking cruelty” one by one. During his speech, Netanyahu was interrupted by Yaakov Godo, whose son Tom was murdered in Kibbutz Kissufim on October 7, who shouted, “You did not protect my son.”

Meanwhile, the IDF says a strike conducted in conjunction with Shin Bet eliminated Hamas Nukhba platoon commander Ibrahim Mustafa Suleiman Abu Oweimer Friday in Nuseirat, central Gaza. Oweimer infiltrated Israel during the October 7 massacre and recently worked to advance attacks and rebuild Hamas capabilities in violation of the ceasefire. This attack came ahead of a statement by Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz on Monday, who said that of the 6,000 Hamas terrorists who invaded Israel on October 7, 2,000 remain. Iran must cut uranium enrichment to end war, Vance says

Iran must cut uranium erichment if it wants the war to end, US Vice President JD Vance said during a trip to Alaska.

“If you don’t want a nuclear weapon, then why do you need 60% enriched fuel? And if you want to show commitment to not building a nuclear weapon, don’t build highly enriched fuel. That’s a very basic threshold issue,” Vance said.

“I think if they want to show a commitment to not building a nuclear weapon, they would do something meaningful on their enrichment capacity.”

‘Hamas will try to challenge us,’ PM Netanyahu warns of Hamas attack in an attempt to influence Israeli election outcomes

FULL REMARKS

“On the eve of October 7th, we remember with sorrow and pain our heroes who fell in the War of Revival and our brothers and sisters who perished in the terrible massacre in the Gaza Envelope—women, men, children, and infants murdered and burned by the Hamas monsters. Over the past three years, we have eliminated 4,000 of these 6,000 monsters. None of them have immunity; we will reach them all, and Hamas’s rule in Gaza will be eradicated.

Two things have happened during these three years:

First, we have completely turned the tide. The State of Israel is the strongest country in the Middle East, and our enemies are weaker than ever.

Second, the ‘Tkuma’ (Revival) region has come back to life. Ninety percent of the residents have returned to their homes, joined by many others. There is a massive surge of construction and rehabilitation in the Gaza Envelope—in the cities, kibbutzim, and moshavim. Young couples are moving there to start new lives. This is a victory of the human spirit over evil—a victory for Israel over its enemies.

The same thing is happening in the North.” Precisely because Hamas is so weak, it will try to challenge us with its remaining strength as the elections approach, in an attempt to influence the outcome. We are prepared for this; first and foremost, we will thwart such attempts, and in any case, we will respond with tremendous force should they make that mistake.

I say to all our enemies: Look at what we did to you on seven fronts during the War of Revival. Do not mess with us.”
