Sources in Israel are concerned that Iran may intentionally raise the level of uranium enrichment higher, Israel Hayom reported.

In March, Iran raised the level of enrichment to nearly 84%, but later claimed that this had been a mistake on the part of the inspectors.

Meanwhile, Israel is concerned that Iran may return enrichment levels to 84%, and as such, the Prime Minister, Defense Minister, IDF Chief of Staff, Military Intelligence Directorate chief, and National Security Council chief, have clarified that Israel is prepared to use its military force, if it believes the circumstances demand it.

On Tuesday, an Iranian official told Al Jazeera that Israeli threats would not change the course of things.

“We do not seek war, but the world must understand we have lines that there are no red lines when it comes to our response to Israel,” the official said.

He went on to say that Israel was trying to justify its attacks in Syria out of concern that Damascus would improve its air defenses with the help of Tehran.

Also on Tuesday, it was reported that the members of the Diplomatic-Security Cabinet will gather in the coming days, likely next week

Saudi Arabia has demanded that the Biden administration enter a military alliance with it that would include approval for a civilian nuclear program in return for a normalization agreement with Israel, the Jewish state’s Channel 12 news reported on Tuesday.

In ongoing and “intensive” talks, the Gulf kingdom also demanded that Israel launches a peace process for a two state solution with the Palestinians, the report said.

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and U.S. National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan are leading the negotiations with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman while Mossad chief David Barnea is representing the Israeli side.

As part of the deal, Riyadh has also demanded that Washington accelerate several major arms deals.

In March, The Wall Street Journal reported that a normalization deal between Saudi Arabia and Israel would be conditioned on a U.S. commitment to back the Gulf kingdom’s aspirations for a civilian nuclear program.

Saudi Arabia has long sought to utilize its extensive uranium reserves for a civilian nuclear program.

Riyadh also seeks to gain a commitment from Washington on weapon supplies as well as security guarantees.

Riyadh’s demands constitute “daunting obstacles to a deal, as some Washington lawmakers will likely oppose those measures,” the report said at the time.

It cited former U.S. Ambassador to Israel Daniel Shapiro as saying that it would be “a very tough Gordian knot to cut.”

A normalization deal would mark a “diplomatic victory” for President Joe Biden, the report said, who has bristled with Riyadh on several fronts including oil prices and the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Defense Minister Yoav Gallant also revealed Tehran’s secret sea war against Israel, presenting new photographic evidence.

Israevl doubled attacks on Iran to combat secret sea war, Gallant reveals

Defense Minister Yoav Gallant on Monday said that he has “doubled the attacks on Iran in Syria” during his several months in office.

Gallant also revealed Tehran’s secret sea war against Israel, presenting new photographic evidence of five different ships it is using to establish another front against the Jewish state.

The defense minister presented a series of photos of the ships: the Shahid Siyavashi, the Shahid Rudaki, the Makran, the Shahid Mahadavi and the Shahid Bagheri, as examples of the Islamic Republic’s attempt to extend its tentacles across the Middle East, especially to establish new fronts against Israel.

Regarding Syria, he warned that the restoration of Bashar Assad’s regime to the Arab League “will not give Iranian proxies any immunity.”

Honing in on the nuclear issue, Gallant said Iran would pay “a severe price” if it decided “to enrich [uranium] up to 90%.” He added that “Israel has dealt with complex threats since its founding,” but that now Iran is trying to connect all of the various fronts against Israel.

“Iran is the biggest threat to the stability of the region and the world. It is prosecuting a war of attrition against Israel. It wants to open a new Hezbollah front on the Golan Heights as it has done in south Lebanon,” he said.
